  2. Adept to see Truman again, nice fine art, but compassion about the fundamental character, whom we know won't die.
  3. Haha. I call back now y'all're just doing it to make us chuckle.

Anyway, I'm really glad nosotros're getting a cody story to develop this supposedly shut relationship.

  4. And if we get a story chosen "The death of Deaddy McRedshirt" the comment will exist that we already know how it ends :p
  5. Just got this today; well-nigh missed it, my comic shop had it with the Conan side up.

Nothing bad, only nothing outstanding either. If I'd paid money for it I might have felt gypped but since information technology's complimentary I enjoyed it equally a little filler, although the fact that it's non set in the timeline got me wondering about when it was perchance prepare (in the 2 weeks between Obsession and Brothers in Arms, I'd think for the best bet). Other than that, some new clones for the Wookieepedia and some other line helping to refute the 3 meg clones argument were all that stuck out.

  6. Meh. Groovy, non great. It felt like "Tales" cloth.
  7. Actually, let me follow up with an observation: my shop included leftover copies of the Rebellion/KOTOR #0 in their freebie pile. IMO, this was a much better pick for the FCBD special. The intent of FCBD is to get kids into the store and generate an interest in the books. The #0 flip book previews Ii ongoing series, and both stories were pretty adept. The FCBD special nosotros got would have worked nicely in "Tales," which is now defunct. Sadly, "Democracy" no longer exists, so why effort to draw the kids in with Clone tales?

While we're at information technology, Legacy #0 might have made a squeamish freebie book also...some child walks in, "Hey, it'due south a Star Wars book with Luke'southward grandson? Dad, we gotta come back for more issues!"

I suppose the Conan story might take driven some of this, since, believe it or non, Dark Horse sells more than Star Wars comics. But darn it, that's what I read....

  8. The one in the introduction virtually clones being on every front. I actually missed it at first.

Anyways, I found this to be a skilful activity-oriented story, simply nothing to get too excited nigh.

  9. 1 thing I got a boot out of: Stradly made some Abel-worthy catechism tie-ins. The planet they're fighting on was mentioned in one of the ROTS guide books, and the clone troopers Cody commands are the ones that the latest Insider article mentioned Plo Koon killed when he crashed on Cato Neimoidia.
  10. CT-8770 and CT-8910. Do they become names?
  11. No, they're only mentioned by number by Cody; he says something like, "8867 through 8869, follow me."
  12. What'due south the designation of the Lt. who servers equally Cody'south ADC?
  13. Fun trivial story- though it reminds me of the trooper episode of the cartoon. Expert art though- hands the best we've gotten for a FCBD SW event withal.

Going by the presence of the Mark II armor, ARC-170's and Obiwan, I'd suggest the most likely timeframe for this to take identify during would b between 25-30 mABG or 32-34 mABG, with the one-time likely fifty-fifty narrower, closer to 27-xxx mABG.

  14. I'm wondering if it doesn't take place just prior to the commencement Dreadnaughts of Rendili upshot. Later all, we never saw Anakin or whatsoever indication he was in the boxing in Routine Valor, and in DOR he and Obi-Wan are coming to Rendili from different locations.
  15. Though I believe Nighttime Rendezvous occurs right before DOR for the most function.

Information technology'due south perhaps this is taking place during the events of Jedi Trial, though.

  16. No, I'm rereading DR, and it name-checks the Rendili Dreadnought crisis, as well every bit the Honoghr disaster (that final being referenced repeatedly and far out of proportion.
  17. Gah, I missed this ane. I didn't go to the comic shop until belatedly and missed information technology!

I don't suppose anyone wants to scan information technology for me? ;) [face_whistling]

  18. Well the Honoghr affair isn't a problem since that happens 24 months ABG. I call up I call up people chalking upwards the Rendili reference as an mistake or referring to an before incident or to events leading up to DOR's events, only I'm not certain offhand (still demand to read YDR personally) but I do recollect discussions (and perhaps commentary by Leland) that YDR does in fact take identify between JT and DOR.
  19. The Rendili line in DR is anachronistic, along the lines of the Jabiim reference in Shatterpoint. IIRC, though, there had been some sort of standoff preceding the events of the comic that DR could exist referring to.

By the fashion, I didn't brand information technology out to a comic store, so if anyone happened to pick up an extra copy...

    TC

  20. Yeah, I realized that once I got abode -- DR doesn't work after DOR, seeing as Ventress needs to disappear between DOR and Obsession. Lead-up conflict it must be.
